How I checked this. This isn't an official SHIFT page. I read SHIFT's own terms, refund policy, privacy policy, plans page and home page, and checked what I could in the product myself. Last verified October 9, 2026. Prices and policies change, and where this page and SHIFT's pages disagree, SHIFT's pages win. The basics
What is SHIFT AI?
One membership and one login for a set of AI studios: chat, image, video, voice, avatar, music, translation, decks and brand kits. Every studio draws on the same credit balance, and what you make is saved in your Vault.
What does the $99 membership include?
20,000 credits a month and access to every studio. It renews monthly until you cancel. SHIFT also sells one-time packs with more credits up front; they're on SHIFT's plans page.
Can I cancel?
Yes, online at any time in Settings. Cancelling stops future charges, and the membership stays active until the end of the month you've paid for. Credits you already hold and everything in your Vault stay put.
Do credits expire?
No. SHIFT's terms say credits don't expire, and your monthly credits and any credits you buy sit in one balance.
Can I get a refund?
For credits you bought and haven't spent, yes: a full refund within 30 days of purchase. The current month of a membership isn't refundable. If you close your account, SHIFT buys back unspent credits at 100% of what you paid within 30 days of purchase and 40% after that. Spent credits aren't refunded, but credits come back automatically when a generation fails. The details are in SHIFT's refund policy.
Credits and the studios
What do credits actually buy?
Credits are spent when you generate something, and each studio shows the cost before you create. When I checked SHIFT's studio page on September 25, 2026, Chat was 35 credits a message and images started at 108 credits. At those rates, 20,000 credits is about 570 chat messages or about 185 images. Extra credits are $1 per 200, from the top-up screen in the Suite (checked October 9, 2026). You can top up by card from $50 to $3,000, by bank transfer (wire or ACH) from $500, or with crypto from $50 to $50,000 if you're in the United States. SHIFT says a full credit price list is "publishing soon." Until then, the rate sheet shows the rates I use.
Which studios are there?
Chat, Image, Video & Reels, Voice, Avatar, Translate, Music, Deck, Brand Pack and Prospect (outreach packs built from a business's website). SHIFT's home page now says 11 studios, so check the Suite for the current list.
Which AI models are behind it?
SHIFT's home page lists OpenAI, Claude, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, FLUX and Kling 3.0, "and more." Its terms name Anthropic, OpenAI, HeyGen and ElevenLabs as providers, and say your prompts go to whichever provider runs the feature you're using. You reach them through SHIFT's studios instead of signing up with each one.
Do the AI providers train on what I make?
SHIFT's privacy policy says it doesn't use your prompts, uploads or output to train its own models, and that its contracts with providers exclude your content from training theirs.
Is there an API?
SHIFT doesn't list one, and its terms don't allow automating generation outside SHIFT's own interfaces. Plan on working in the Suite in your browser.
Is it worth it?
Will SHIFT replace my whole AI stack?
It didn't replace mine. I cancelled about $107 a month, and Chat and Image covered most of it. Deck Studio didn't come close to Gamma for me. I still pay $240 a month for Claude Max, Replit, Google Workspace with Gemini and GitHub Copilot. Decide tool by tool.
How do I know if it's worth it for me?
Add up what you pay now. The calculator does it in a minute and puts your total next to the $99 membership. If most of your spend is chat and images, consolidating can make sense. If you depend on one specialist tool, or you only pay for one AI tool, it probably doesn't. For me it came out at about $8 a month: $107 cancelled against $99.
Tool Tax and SHIFT
Does Tool Tax get paid if I join SHIFT?
Yes. I'm a SHIFT member, and SHIFT pays me a referral reward when someone joins through my links. It doesn't change your price, and no AI tool vendor pays Tool Tax. The full disclosure has the details.
Can I make money with SHIFT?
SHIFT has a member rewards plan. I don't make income claims, here or anywhere else. SHIFT publishes an income disclosure statement. Read it before you decide anything on that basis.
Is Tool Tax run by SHIFT?
No. Tool Tax is independent. I run it under DailyProfits LLC, and it doesn't speak for SHIFT or any tool listed here.
Getting help
Who do I contact about my SHIFT account, billing or a refund?
SHIFT, at support@shiftai.club. That's the address in their refund policy. I can't see or change anything in your SHIFT account.
What hasn't SHIFT published yet?
A few things I couldn't confirm from SHIFT's public pages, so they're not answered here:
- a full per-use credit price list for every studio
- the names of all 11 studios
- which AI model answers in Chat Studio, or whether you can choose one
